Moscow hosted the World Cup DanceSport

The annual dancesport competitions "SUMMER RHYTHMS" were held from June 12 to 19 in Moscow by the All-Russian Federation of DanceSport, Breaking and Acrobatic Rock’n’Roll (FDSARR). One of the biggest dancesport events in the Russian Federation, the “SUMMER RHYTHMS” traditionally feature a block of international competitions. 

This year the 8-days long dance marathon was launched with the World Cup and international competitions in Ballroom, Latin, Ten Dance and Smooth disciplines. 

From June 12 to June 14, more than 3,000 athletes, Amateur and Professional, from 20 countries competed for the titles. 

The official ceremony of the “SUMMER RHYTHMS” was attended by the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation and the Chairman of the Russian Olympic Committee Mikhail Degtyarev, and FDSARR President and WFADS Vice President Nadezhda Erastova. 

“SUMMER RHYTHMS” united thousands of dancesport athletes and enthusiasts from all over the world celebrating the beauty of dance and genuine sporting principles, and the WFADS is happy to congratulate the champions, prize-winners and the finalists of the World Cup Dancesport held in Moscow
