2024 WFASD Acrobatic Rock’n’Roll World Championship was held on 21 December in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates. 

More than 200 representatives of 30 countries took part in five disciplines: Rock’n’Roll M class Adults, Rock’n’Roll A class Adults, Rock’n’Roll B class Adults, Formation Women Adults, Acro Swing Adults. 
WFASD President Mrs. Oumy Sene opened the evening part of the World Championship. She announced that the WFASD Annual General Meeting that was held on 21 December in Abu Dhabi approved the change of the WFASD name to the World Federation of Acrobatic Dances and Dance Sports (WFADS), making it the milestone in the WFADS history contributing to further development of the Federation.  

The historical WFASD Acro Swing World Championship was held for the first time ever in Abu Dhabi. Kudryashov Ivan and Kudryashova Olga representing the Russian Federation were crowned the first ever Acro Swing World Champions.

Samilov Konstantin and Gusarova Anastasia (Russia) won the second consecutive title of the WFASD World Champions in the most difficult and spectacular Acrobatic Rock’n’Roll discipline “M class” Adults.
